Beauty Rest: Fact or Fiction E-mail
Your looks will definitely improve if you can sleep well each night. My mom and my aunts used to tell me that they need their beauty rest. However, I did not understand that sleep had anything to do with looking good at that time.
 
I now know that sleep is one of the most important things you can do for your body. You need proper sleep if you want to have peace of mind and a healthy body. You will be healthier on the inside and more radiant on the outside if you allow your body to have sufficient rest.

You have to make sure that you are getting enough beauty rest if you want to enhance your beauty. You can tell by my face that I have been having problems with sleeping lately. I’m not sure what the problem is but you can definitely tell I have not been getting enough beauty rest.
 
People can tell that I’m tired and worn out, even if I put on some make up. It is not hard to tell the difference between someone getting enough sleep and someone who tosses and turns all night long.

Your body can certainly benefit from getting seven or eight hours of sleep each night. You also need a good mattress for proper beauty rest. You aren’t going to sleep well if you have an old, lumpy mattress. I am suspecting that this is my problem, so I am going to have to spring for a new mattress before too much more time passes.
 
You are not also going to sleep well if your mattress is way too soft, or perhaps too firm. If your bed is also too small, then you will probably not get enough rest. You and your husband may be having trouble getting enough beauty rest if you are sleeping in a full size bed together. Enough space to spread out is necessary in order to get good, restful sleep.

You should examine your sleeping environment if you have a good bed, but can’t figure out why you aren’t getting enough beauty rest. Your bedroom should have an atmosphere for sleeping. There’s a good chance that you will not sleep well if you are looking at clutter, or piles of work you have to do the next day.
 
You should keep your work outside of your bedroom, and keep the clutter picked up. Lights or sounds may also be interfering with your beauty rest. Wearing a sleeping mask and getting a fan or white noise machine can eliminate the noises that might be keeping you awake at night.
