| Things Look Brighter with Laser Bleaching |
|
|
Do you find the you have embarrassingly discolored teeth? Do you turn green with envy whenever you see those models on toothpaste commercials flashing their pearly white and ultra bright perfect smiles? If this sounds like you, you may want to try the solution that helped me improve the look of my teeth. You should contact with your dentist to learn about laser bleaching. You see, I must admit, embarissingly, that I am a smoker. I also drink a lot of coffee and dark sodas (colas). Cigarettes, soda pop and coffee as you might imagine, can really stain your teeth. After seeing how yellow and discolered my teeth have become through the years, I finally decided to be proactive and do something about improving my smile.
After a few weeks of using whitening strips I was becoming displeased
with the rate they were whitening my teeth. I mean, I have been using
them for weeks, yet I can hardly notice any difference. I made up my
mind that it was time to see the local dentist. In the course of my
visit the dentist introduced me to a new treatment for discolored teeth
called laser bleaching.
The dentist told me that laser bleaching is a treatment that uses a
laser to accelerate the action of the bleach and normally last for an
hour. He told me that it is the most effective way of whitening teeth
but it may cost me a few hundred dollars.
Using a laser is becoming increasingly more prevalent in the science of teeth whitening. You may even say that it's sweeping the nation. From Maine teeth bleaching to teeth bleaching California, the trend to turn to laser bleaching continues to grow.
It is especially popular on the left coast. Go figure that California is on the cutting edge. Teeth bleaching Oakland, teeth bleaching Berkeley, and teeth bleaching San Francisco are just a few of the Golden state's laser bleaching hot spots.
I figured that since lasers were high tech equipment the treatment should be a bit more expensive, but since I desperately wanted to get rid of my yellow teeth, I made the appointment. The treatment went well. It wasn’t complicated and was virtually painless. Most importantly, I am now the proud owner of beautiful, sparkling white teeth.
Then a problem surfaced when I got home after the treatment. I was so careful about protecting my teeth that I found it impossible to eat anything with color in it. I started to drink ice coffee and used a straw to safeguard my teeth. I drank white wine instead of red to avoid staining my teeth. It even came to a point where I wouldn’t eat cherries because they might stain my teeth. After a few days of diligently shielding my teeth from stains I began to realize that I was going too far. I wasn’t ready to give up coffee and it would probably take colored food several months to stain my teeth as badly as it did before the treatment.
I mean, what’s the point of having white teeth if you can’t enjoy life because you have to refrain from eating your favorite food. Anyway I could always repeat the treatment if my teeth became intolerably discolored again. Laser bleaching to the rescue.
